Armchair Forecaster User Agreement

Please read the following carefully.

By creating an Armchair Forecaster account you agree to the following:

• Any and all forecasts created by any user with this web platform and software are for entertainment purposes only. Users are prohibted from conveying any Armchair forecast as an official government weather forecast in both private and public forums. Users found to be impersonating official government forecast entities will be subject to removal from this platform with no recovery of user data or statistics.
• Usernames containing vulgar or offensive language (as determined by the Armchair Forecaster team) are not permitted. Such languange includes, but is not limited to, disparaging phrases pertaining to race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, age, and/or religion. Users in violation of this guideline will receive a single written warning to the email address on file and must change their username with 15 calendar days. Failure to do so will result in removal from this platform with no recovery of user data or statistics.
• Armchair Forecaster is a free platform with users competing for bragging rights with the exception of during the tournament period. During such time a small physical prize will be announced with a cash value approximately or less than $20.00. Such prize(s) can not and will not be exchanged for equal cash value. Prize details will be announced on the tournament web page. Armchair Forecaster reserves the right to withhold any prize(s) if unfair play is suspected by the tournament winner(s).
• The provided contact form is for user assistance and feedback only. Repeated spamming or verbal harrassment via the contact form will result in offending I.P. addresses being permanently blocked and uers removed from the platform.
• The Armchair Forecaster team reserves the right to remove this platform after at least a 15 calendar day notice. This may result in the permanent loss of user statistics.
